Safety is one of Hickman Metal Roofing’s top priorities.  We meet and exceed Government and Florida State rules and regulations for insurance coverage.  We take pride in the fact that we offer two million in coverage. Full Worker's Comp is offered as well.

Hickman Metal Roofing instituted and maintains a company program of policies, procedures, and practices to protect our employees from, and help them recognize, job-related safety and health hazards.  Both the Employee and the Employer follow the guidelines below to help insure their safety and yours.

Employee Duties
1.  Follow all safety rules
2. Wear and take care of personal protective equipment
3.  Make sure all safety features for tools and equipment are functioning properly
4.  Replace damaged or dull hand tools immediately
5.  Avoid horseplay, practical jokes, or other activities that create a hazard
6 .  Report any unsafe work practice and any injury or accident to your supervisor

Employer Duties
1.  Keep the workplace free from hazards
2.  Inform employees of how to protect themselves against hazards that cannot be controlled
3.  Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections
